After a day and a half of waiting for our missing luggage to arrive, Cliff motored out to the airport this morning to personally track them down. He was successful. They were in a locked room at United Airlines. Apparently neither United nor Northwest felt a responsibility to deliver them to us. So they sat and sat and sat, and the message from Northwest Airlines was that the bags had not been properly identified. In airline parlance that seems to be code for – “pass the buck.”
There was NO message from United Airlines because we could never contact them. But then, the luggage stubs we had were from Northwest.
