Sharing memories and logging them is valuable information to someone who may have never had an opportunity to know you. I have learned so much about ancestors from 100 or more years ago by reading tales and accounts that have been documented at some point by somone or some document. I think what you are doing is great. It is a way to share your life with others even if you feel you are a nobody, and will be valuable if you ever become a famous somebody – even if to a decendant.

Edna – Hope you see this here. Do you know of any descendant of the Alexander Stinson Sr. of Buckingham Co. VA that has taken the YDNA test?

I noticed that the test submitted by Kathy Stinson-Hessmer does not match to any Stinson’s or variant spellings.

Glad your blog has given you a place to share your memories. It is important for people to know what has gone before — and the lives of famous people are usually so removed from our own, they may not resonate with other unfamous people.

May you find much pleasure in your reminiscences — and may you find much of the past returning as you write.
